This beautiful cold cast bronze statue of missionaries engaged in the work of the Lord is created by artist Erasmo Fuentes. Small enough to sit on your desk or shelf, but large enough to create a presence and start a conversation, this bronze represents the gospel in action through missionary work.

"Anxiously Engaged" is the perfect gift for your favorite missionary. Whether they're heading out soon or have long since returned and tend to ride a desk more than their former missionary transportation, this piece is a meaningful testament to the hard work and purpose of a missionary.

The original version was created when artist Erasmo's three oldest sons left to serve missions in Texas, Portugal, and Spain. The title comes from Doctrine and Covenants 58:27, which reads: "Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness: . . ."

The life-sized monument, that was commissioned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is displayed at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, where missionaries have been trained for over 50 years.
